As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.
In this role, you will:
Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business
About Goodstart:
Goodstart Early Learning Elizabeth Vale is in Adelaide’s north, near Lyell McEwen Hospital, surrounded by parklands. Licenced for 72 children, catering to all early learning age groups from 6 weeks to 5 years. The centre is open from 6.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
The centre is committed to creating a warm and welcoming community focused centre. They look forward to building and maintaining meaningful and true relationships with all our families and children. Having many long term, dedicated staff members, they are a diverse centre and support culturally diverse families.
The service is currently working with a Child and Family Practitioner will be working with Elizabeth Vale 3 days per week. Goodstart Elizabeth Vale also runs a free Indigenous Playgroup for the local community. You’ll need:
A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
