Marketing Officer

In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing communication and marketing campaigns, encompassing both traditional and digital platforms. You'll manage website content, electronic communications, and social media platforms, creating engaging digital content and advertising strategies to boost community engagement.
A key aspect of your responsibilities will include implementing the annual marketing calendar and budget, ensuring all promotional materials and campaigns align with our client's brand style guide. You'll conduct market research to understand customer demographics and preferences, analyse data to inform marketing decisions, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns.
Providing high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders is essential. You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing our client's reputation by developing and maintaining positive relationships with all partners.
What's Involved?
- Oversee the social media channels including Instagram and Facebook including posting twice daily, responding to direct messages and comments.
- Prepare all staff and member communications including copywriting and distributing via Mailchimp.
- Prepare the monthly newsletter sent via Campaign Monitor.
- Contribute creative ideas to help deliver marketing campaigns according to the Marketing Calendar.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in a marketing role within a community based organisation. Experience in campaign development, social media management, and market research is essential.
