Distribution Design Team Lead

RASP Australia are a nationally recognised Design and Engineering company. RASP Australia is experiencing exponential growth and is looking to expand our electrical design team. We are in search of an experienced Distribution Design team leader to join our team.
Our Head Office is in Morley in Western Australia where you will be based in.
If you are a skilled and experienced Distribution Designer with a passion for Electrical Design and a desire to take the lead role on exciting projects, leading a dynamic team in an environment with a strong focus on collaboration and working together to get the best results possible, we encourage you to apply for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Leading a distribution design team in delivering a diverse portfolio of projects of varying complexity
- Coaching and mentoring the team with an aim for continual improvement and development of the team.
- Project management and monitor adherence to schedules / milestones.
- Monitoring quality to ensure KPI’s are achieved.
- Design review and approval as required.
- Auditing as required.
- Client and Stakeholder Management.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in distribution design
- Experience with electrical distribution networks and broad knowledge of technical requirements.
- Familiarity with relevant Western Australian codes and standards.
- Proven ability to manage people effectively to get the best outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Knowledge of Western Power software applications and systems is preferred.
- o g. DQM, Poles n Wires, LV Design, MicroStation
- Minimum of Diploma in Electrical Engineering or high level of industry experience
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical network design
- Demonstrated experience in leading a design team, either as a formal leader or senior designer/engineer role.
