  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience managing and leading sales or business professionals to deliver on yearly key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Experience engaging with accounts, selling a portfolio of products at C-level.
  • Experience in Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) sales roles.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience in leading and delivering large complex technical and commercial engagements in the cloud or in a consumption based enterprise.
  • 10 years of experience with financial services in banking, insurance, wealth management.
  • Experience working with and managing cross-functional partners in implementation projects and negotiations.
  • Experience driving growth of cloud technologies in organizations across a given territory or industry segment.
  • Ability to engage and influence new relationships across the portfolio to drive growth.
About the job

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the market success of our new products, such as Google Cloud Platform and G Suite, and for the adoption of our business-relevant and pure-cloud solutions. You will impact business metrics, including business growth attainment, shorter business cycles, bigger business sizes, new logo acquisition through knowledge, teamwork and programmatic engagement. You will work with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Product Strategists to define and achieve strategic goals. You will leverage knowledge of our offerings to become a trusted advisor to large and small companies on how they can utilize Google’s core infrastructure to launch new business units and ideas. You will also be responsible for regular reviews to ensure alignment and delivery to portfolio expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement Go-to-Market propositions in a given business sector, bringing together Marketing, Demand Management, Solutions, and Product and Engineering teams to produce a focused proposition.
  • Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor to the customer.
  • Work with wider Google Account teams to develop and drive pipeline, and to provide guidance. Work with Google Cloud Platform Partners to develop campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Marketing resource to provide input on current collateral materials and ideas on how to improve them to maximize Google Cloud Platform in a given team. Work towards strategic business goals.
