Our client is a leading automotive parts supplier specialising in components for 4WD vehicles. “With a strong reputation for quality and customer service, we are dedicated to supporting the needs of 4WD enthusiasts across the globe. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our team and contribute to our success”.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations, administration staff, and HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, coupled with excellent leadership and organisational skills. This role is critical in ensuring the financial health of the company and the efficient operation of the administrative and HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
- Work closely with department heads to create accurate and achievable budgets.
Audit and Compliance:
- Coordinate and oversee external audits and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain robust financial systems and processes.
Administration and HR Management:
- Supervise and support administration staff, ensuring efficient office operations.
- Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Manage payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
- Foster a positive work environment and company culture through effective communication and team-building activities.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role.
- Proven experience in managing administrative functions and HR operations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Supportive and dynamic work environment
