Vibrant, well-established and growing Legal Service seeks an experiencedCriminal Law advocate as its new Regional Manager. If you are lookingfor a contemporary managerial portfolio with excellent Criminal Law Courtopportunity, combined with managing a dedicated team of 16, this outback rolewill suit you. 
 

Opportunitylike this is unusual

• Practice in most areas of Criminal Law;
• Strong team of Legal Practitioners, plus four Court Support Officers in both Mount Isa and our Normanton Satellite Office toaid with regular Circuit Courts;
• Two local Administration staff aid you, as does theBrisbane-based Finance, HR and Administration team; we also have an activeThrough Care role for young people in place;
• Report to our Chief Executive Officer and ourPrincipal Legal Officer in Brisbane;
• Package can include salary sacrifice options:tax-free, flexi-time, paid study leave for approved programs, free CPDaccess, additional leave, plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

About you

• Must be admitted as a Legal Practitioner within theState of Queensland and be the holder of (or be eligible for immediateacquisition of) a current Practising Certificate;
• Have five years' practice inCriminal Law; this is ideal to meet the diverse demands of the role;
• Practice Management (formal) qualifications are notrequired;
• Driver Licence is required for this role;
• Demonstrate a high level of professional service inall aspects of Criminal Law ? within both adult and youth jurisdictions;
• Steady communication and interpersonal skillsincluding ability to lead your team towards policy-driven standards; rely uponour Legal Practice Standards Officer to aid you;
• We may be able to assist with accommodation andrelocation (may not suit all candidates);
• Have ability to develop and encourageculturally competent service skills;
• Beable to align to our vision of being the leading legal service for our clients,with a focus on social justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanderclients and their families.

With benefits,package exceeds $150,000 to the experienced candidate.
