Product Management is responsible for the value & viability of our products from cradle to grave. They are the connective tissue between our product strategy, business strategy and product delivery. Lets talk about the role:

Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive product innovation and improve user experiences? ResMed is seeking a dynamic Group Product Manager for our Product Analytics team. This role is crucial for guiding product development, enhancing user satisfaction, and propelling business growth through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hiring and Onboarding. Recruit and onboard skilled analysts and data scientists.
• Mentorship and Training. Provide ongoing mentorship, professional development, and training.
• Performance Management. Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and provide feedback.
• Setting Objectives. Define clear OKRs that align with business and product strategy.
• Stakeholder Collaboration. Work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Project Planning. Allocate resources effectively and oversee planning and execution of analytics projects.
• Agile Methodologies: Implement agile practices to improve efficiency, establish short feedback cycles to fail fast and learn fast.
• Data Strategy. Develop and maintain a comprehensive product data strategy.
• Data Governance. Ensure data quality and integrity.
• Compliance and Security. Adhere to data privacy laws and security standards.
• Advanced Analytics. Lead complex analyses, including predictive modelling and machine learning.
• Actionable Insights. Deliver insights that inform product development and business decisions.
• Innovation. Explore new analytical techniques and tools.
• Experiment Design. Guide the design and execution of A/B tests, accurately interpret results, and provide recommendations.
• Dashboard and Reports: Oversee development of dashboards and regular reports.
• Effective Communication. Translate complex findings for non-technical stakeholders and present high-level summaries and insights to leadership.
• Product Development. Integrate data insights into the product lifecycle.
• Data Platform Engineering. Align data requirements with engineering.
• Customer Insights. Combine qualitative and quantitative data for comprehensive user understanding.
• Technology Stack. Manage the selection and implementation of analytics tools.
• Process Optimization. Continuously improve analytical processes, promote automation to streamline processes and enable user self-service.

Let’s talk about you:

Leadership and Management

• Product Management. Experience in Product Management and agile product development practices.
• Team Leadership: Experience leading and mentoring teams as well as managing the performance by setting goals and providing feedback. Ideally experience in building and leading product analytics teams
• Project Management: Skilled in planning, resource allocation, and managing deliverables ideally of analytics projects.

Technical Proficiency

• Data Analysis. Proficient in SQL, Python, R, or similar tools.
• Statistical Knowledge. Understanding of statistical methods and experiment design.
• Data Visualization. Skilled in tools like Tableau, Power BI.
• Tool and Technology Management. Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies.

Business Acumen and Strategy

• Product Analytics. Experience in developing and communicating a clear product analytics vision and strategy that aligns with business objectives. 
• Product Knowledge.  Deep understanding of the product and user base.
• Market Dynamics. Knowledge of competitive landscape and industry trends in analytics
• Data Privacy: Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations.

Communication and Stakeholder Management

• Communication. Strong skills in translating and presenting complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration. Experience working with diverse teams across product management, engineering, and business functions.
• Negotiation and Influence.  Ability to negotiate priorities and influence decisions.

Decision Making and Problem Solving

• Analytical Thinking. Strong problem-solving skills.
• Data-Driven Decision Making. Using data to inform decisions.
• Attention to Detail. Ensuring accuracy in analysis and reporting.

Continuous Learning

• Growth Mindset. Commitment to ongoing learning and development.
• Continuous Improvement. Proactive in identifying improvement opportunities.
