Our client is a total solutions provider offering specialist services and products supporting the mining, oil & gas, infrastructure & construction industries. This includes Drill Rig Rebuilds and Manufacture, Truck Body Manufacturing and Repairs, fabrication, offsite repairs.

We are looking for our Fabrication Supervisors to display strong leadership skills, the ability to supervise and allocate work tasks to our fabrication team and closely mentor and guide our apprentices.

Duties but not limited to:

  • Plan, implement and coordinate the fabrication workshop activities in line with client deadlines.
  • Supervise and allocate tasks to our workshop personnel.
  • Mentor, guide and support the team to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Ensure HSEQ policies and procedures are adhered to, providing feedback on recommended continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive efficiencies, ensuring works are delivered on time and to client expectations.
  • Liaise with the Workshop Manager to ensure the workshop has all the resources required to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of truck body building experience
  • A minimum of 2 years workshop supervision experience
  • Experience with fabrication and welding of structural steel work, piping and platework.
  • Extensive knowledge of fabrication and welding techniques and principles
  • Forklift, dogging, rigging, confines space and working at heights tickets desirable.
  • IT literate experience with MS Office Suites
