Recruitment Consultant | Data & AnalyticsWe're working with a dynamic and innovative organisation operating in the financial services sector, committed to driving performance and profitability through data-driven insights and analytics. We are seeking a talented individual to join their Analytics team and play a crucial role in optimising their marketing and operational activities.
Role Overview: As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and interpreting data assets to drive business performance and profitability. You will develop and implement analytics insights and models across various business areas, including marketing, HR, operations, telephony, and banking. Your role will involve utilising advanced analytical techniques, such as machine learning modeling, to inform strategic initiatives and enhance decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse GFS databases and external sources using SQL/R code/stored procedures/functions to develop reporting, analytics, and insights.
- Apply machine learning modeling techniques to optimize initiatives across multiple business areas.
- Research and develop new analytical capabilities to support innovative initiatives such as speech analytics and media mix modeling.
- Ensure data integrity across all analytics platforms and provide proactive insights on ROI performance.
- Engage with stakeholders across BI and Technology to implement new analytical and reporting requirements.
- Provide ongoing and ad-hoc analysis and advice to stakeholders to identify commercial opportunities and support business strategies.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Marketing, Commerce/Business, Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Engineering, or Statistics.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar insight-driven data analytics role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL/R/VBA/MATLAB/SAS.
- Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Strong conceptual, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Python (desirable).
- Exposure to machine learning algorithm development (desirable).
