The Team

We’re a founding team of 3 with skills in tech, legal and business based out of our office in Brisbane, Australia. Our tech co-founder (along with some great contractors) have brought us to our prototype and are working hard towards launching our MVP We’re an open and collaborative team across disciplines, where the best idea wins, no matter who it comes from.

The Role

We’re looking for a mid to senior level fullstack developer who will work directly alongside our tech co-founder in the development of our core product whilst also collaborating closely with the entire founding team to define requirements, understand business logic and transform complex problems to performant solutions.

This role will also see you:

  • responsible for designing and implementing solutions to complex problems, in both backend and frontend;
  • ensuring our product roadmap is maintained;
  • identifying areas of optimisation; and
  • performing system-level testing and debugging to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a candidate who comes from a strong engineering background with 3+ years demonstrable experience in designing, implementing, deploying and maintaining high-performing applications.

If you’re what we’re looking for, you’ll have: 

  • a proven track record in: 
    • TypeScript, NodeJS, React and Postgres,
    • cloud platforms (particularly AWS and GCP),
    • RESTful API design and implementation,
    • security and version control systems, particularly Git, to ensure integrity and security in the software development process,
  • a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent,
  • a deep understanding of system design, computer science fundamentals and development best practices with an ability to thoughtfully contribute to architectural decisions,
  • a passion for the challenge of a problem and the proven ability to identify, analyse and solve complex problems from both a technical and commercial lens, ensuring the delivery of creative and efficient solutions, and
  • outstanding communication skills, be adept at articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and not be afraid to ask questions

  • are self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision, whilst also being able to actively collaborate with your team and take instructions from our founders,
