About the role

We are searching for a talented senior (ideally 12D) Civil Designer to bolster our existing capacity to service our Clients in the greater Brisbane area. All levels of post-graduate and professional experience from five years or more will be considered, but a senior designer with upward of 10 years’ experience is extremely desirable.

Applications should highlight your 12D design experience applying Australian Standards and a variety of regulations for the multiple local authorities in SEQld.

Mentoring occurs within and across projects and multidisciplinary teams to bolster and impart your technical design capability. You will be expected to develop and maintain strong internal and external working relationships with colleagues and key Clients, including local authorities, developers and architects. Please note Westera is an engineering consultancy firm where even our Managing Partners are on the tools, with complex design and review of senior engineering designs remaining a key component of their multifaceted roles. As such, applicants will need to be confident conversing with Clients and colleagues about their design solutions.
