Your new role:
Reporting to the Manager, Investment Data Operations, the Senior Analyst, Investment Data will lead and support the development and delivery of Investment data to platforms, such as: Portfolio Management System and Performance Systems. This role will contribute to the evolution of Investment Data Operations by taking lead on design, development and delivery of improvement initiatives that will introduce efficiencies to platform workflows and operating processes.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead and support the resolution of issues encountered during the daily processes.
- Lead independent and/or collaborative thinking to the design, development & delivery of innovative solutions and improvement initiatives across Investment Data Operations. Conduct all related activities including stakeholder management, change management and co -ordination across impacted business teams and service providers.
- Conduct deep dives into issues and pain points and identify opportunities for efficiency/productivity savings. Manage the implementation of improvements.
- Assist to drive a continuous improvement mindset within Portfolio Operations by displaying a focus on change and improvement and working with the functional teams on change.
- Lead the Investment Data Operations team and support activities to ensure the completeness , accuracy, and timeliness of the daily data provided to downstream systems. Coach and develop team members and execute projects succinctly.
- Establish strong relationships across the fund and with key external service providers (Blackrock, JPM, and Alphacert).
What you'll need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting and / or related Industry discipline.
- Relevant Industry related Professional Qualifications (e.g. CA/CPA/CFA) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years relevant finance experience.
- Ability to understand and challenge existing processes to identify and drive improvement.
- Broad/Deep Investment Operations experience.
- Advanced understanding of ABOR/IBOR/Custody processes.
- Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas, issues, and solutions to key stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Advanced Power BI / DAX/ Tableau.
