About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Lead to join our AR team on a 6-month contract, starting ASAP
- Manage the billing function for all campuses on a weekly basis.
- Manage the collection of fees and chasing of outstanding fees (debtors).
- Support, train, and mentor the growth of Accounts Receivable Team members.
- Act as the escalation point for queries from Accounts Receivable Team members.
- Oversee the monthly performance and motivation of the Billing team, ensuring effective and efficient personnel, procedures, and practices.
- Provide leadership and coaching to aid in the development of an effective and proactive Accounts Receivable Team, while ensuring internal and external customers receive excellent customer service.
- Participate in the planning and execution of business acquisitions.
- Monitoring and collection of debt within agreed timelines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with solid team leader experience.
- Experience in managing a team in a commercial environment.
- Experience with Xplor, QikKids, and/or Workday is an advantage.
- Intermediate-level experience with IT and systems, including financial programs, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- May have, or be undertaking, a formal qualification in Accounting.
- Experience in delivering impeccable customer/stakeholder service.
- Maturity and confidence to deal with confidential and/or sensitive information.
