Responsibilities:

  • Manage and verify requirements, capture detailed descriptions of system capability and functionality; and ensure the project; team has clear, consistent, and testable requirements documented in test plans, test procedures, and completion criteria,
  • Identify the needs and expectations of the customer, end users and project team members,
  • Set up data structure, manage the data base and provide features to enable engineering development,
  • Develop APIs to facilitate data exchange with other tools,
  • Define the scope and objectives of the system/software to be developed, its features and functionalities,
  • Document the requirements (assuring proper structure of documents and requirements),
  • Develop or maintain the Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM),
  • Assure requirements traceability/consistency,
  • Review and harden requirements with customer representatives,
  • Perform detailed analysis of the requirements; ensure the requirements are complete, correct, and feasible,
  • Help developers understand the system, so that they can determine optimal solutions,
  • Support system and software architecture development, creation of test cases and validation plans,
  • Support efficient planning of the software development process in reference to the customer requirements,
  • Help identify and reduce risks at an early stage of the project,
  • Optional participation in 4 weeks training in BWI Technical Center in France, China or US.

Qualifications Required (R) or Preferred (P):

  • Engineering degree in Software/IT (R),
  • Min. 5 years of System Engineering (experience in ASPICE >Level 2 development context) and knowledgeable for Brakes Control products (R),
  • Familiarity with dedicated Requirements Engineering and ALM tools (R),
  • Experience in customer requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation (R),
  • Knowledge of Industry Standards and tools, such as:
  • Systems and software engineering - lifecycle process - requirements engineering (ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148) (R),
  • Functional Safety (IEC 61508, ISO 26262) (R),
  • Automotive SPICE (R),
  • Requirements Management Tools: JIRA, Windchill RV&S (P)
  • Experience with Agile methods usage in software development (R),
  • Good analytical and communication skills (P),
  • Creativity, problem-solving and decision-making skills (P),
  • Good command of English, written and spoken (R),
  • Experience with Vehicle Control Functions and systems (P),
  • Fluent English (R).
