*Position: IT Project Manager/ Senior IT Project Manager*

Company background: Aviation/Travel/Hospitality industry

Salary range: AUD6,000-7,500 per month

Working days: Mon to Fri

Note: willing to travel within locally and overseas on frequent basis (details will be share during interview)

Employment type: Contract for 12 (convertible to perm based on performance)

Are you looking for opportunities to further develop your Senior Program Manager career?

We are looking for someone to lead Airport Solutions, like passenger processing systems, workstreams for a Program of works. The Senior Project Manager will have overall responsibility to lead the work package team from initial engagement, planning, through to systems test completion and cutover using project management methodology and governance.

Your main responsibilities include

· Overall responsibility of the program or work-streams execution.

· Initiating and planning goals for programs or work-streams according to the strategic objectives of the customer project.

· Planning the program or work-streams from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones, processes, and reporting/presentation of the same to the management on a regular basis.

· Review and provide inputs to the Integrated Master schedule which fully reflects inter-dependencies, delivery and other requirements.

· In-depth understanding and execution of financial processes like Cost Control, Invoice Control, Change management processes, etc. Escalate any issue impacting costs, delivery timeline or scope.

· Building and updating risks and issues, escalating risks and issues in a timely manner.

· Manage changes to the project plan, manage change control process and participate in change process activities to ensure they reflect realistic project delivery requirements.

· Generate customer acceptance criteria and ensure receipt of an acceptance certificate(s).

· Build and manage program or work-streams, core team, budgets and its operations.

· Conducts various work-stream's review status meetings and reporting to management.

· Drive Program Status meeting with customers and as well as a Steering Committee.

· Refine and finalize Project / Program scope statement on the basis for future program decisions.

· Identify all activities necessary to achieve all program or work-stream related deliverables, and monitor through the delivery.

· Organize knowledge transfer during the transition phase for the work-stream.

· Responsible for managing change as per direction from management.

· Manage multiple projects as necessary and as directed by management

*About the ideal candidate*

· Relevant IT Degree & Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, possess good interpersonal skills

· Minimum 15 years of IT experience with 10 years in managing larger programs and Integrated project schedules

· Multiple international exposure is an added advantage

· Experience with the Aviation Industry, especially working with airport solutions, is an added advantage.

· Multi-culture/multi-country exposure would be an advantage.
