An exciting opportunity exists to join our Corporate Legal team as a Legal Counsel.
We are flexible for this role to be based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Perth provided that you can attend the office at least once a week.

As a Legal Counsel, you will provide solutions-focused, commercial legal advice and services to stakeholders across all Australian Retirement Trust products, services, procurement, technology, intellectual property, insurance, dispute resolution, contract drafting and negotiation as well as corporate transactions.
This role is available as a 12-month max-term opportunity.
About You
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills we'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely your tick some of the following boxes too:
- Tertiary qualification in Law and a current unrestricted practicing certificate as a Legal Practitioner in Australia.
- Post-admission experience, ideally in financial services or superannuation
- Robust negotiation, drafting, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to provide professional, concise advice on technical, legislative, and strategic issues.
- The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset.
