For more than 30 years, OFI has provided innovative electrical solutions across Australia to the Mining and Resource, Government and Defence, Fuels and Explosives and other key sectors. We are looking for a Manufacturing Manager to join our senior leadership team who has:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Manufacturing Manager or equivalent in a medium sized organisation;
  • Knowledge of Switch room, kiosk and Switchboard manufacturing
  • Demonstrated leadership attributes with a strong sense of integrity, ethics and dependability;
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Project)
  • Full work rights in Australia
  •  Safety and Risk Management Training (highly desirable)

This Welshpool based role will

  • Supervise manufacturing operations to align with company values, strategies, and purpose. 
  • Provide regular updates to the General Manager.
  • Identify and manage manufacturing-related risks, informing the General Manager promptly of any issues.
  • Foster the growth of the Manufacturing Division through leadership principles, continuous improvement, and skill development.
  • Recommend strategic initiatives and contribute to long-term vision planning.
  • Review sales proposals and ensure manufacturing sales are optimized.
    Engage in business development activities with existing and potential clients.
  • Monitor manufacturing resource requirements to meet company obligations.
  • Foster efficient communication and collaboration across OFI teams.
    Contribute actively to the Senior Management Team.
