Alchemy is proud to be partnered with a leading national Tier 1 Contractor in their search for a Senior Project Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute towards Australia’s largest grid expansion on a significant project that will have a lasting impact on the region’s power infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the execution of various civil scopes.
- Coordinate and liaise with project stakeholders, ensuring project requirements are met.
- Implement and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring performance and delivery meet project specifications.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer on major infrastructure projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Extensive experience in bulk earthworks, roads, concrete, and ideally piling.
- Previous experience working on transmission lines or substations highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
