Your new company

Your new company is a tight-knit HVAC contractor that works with Tier One Builders in the commercial space. Due to organic growth, a new position has opened up to lead a small team in technical engineering design, client liaising and mentorship of junior engineers and drafters. With a strong pipeline of work, this contractor is delivering detailed, top-of-the-line HVAC solutions.

Your new role

As a Senior HVAC Engineer, you will be instrumental in leading design and implementation efforts for a contractor that feeds into large Tier One developers. Working with a small team of estimators, drafters and junior engineers, you will be collaborating and mentoring them on best practise and out of the box HVAC design. With your technical expertise, you will be designing, liaising with clients and providing knowledge of equipment sizing and code compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record in detailed, quality HVAC design. A bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory, and an RPEQ accreditation is highly advantageous. Exposure to Camel, Revit3D, and Bluebeam is desirable, as is strong knowledge within the commercial HVAC sector. This is a client-facing role, so strong communication is a must.
