Compliance & Risk (Banking & Financial Services)

Role and responsibilities:
• Develop, deliver and monitor the Compliance Management Framework to facilitate compliance with relevant regulatory compliance requirements.
• Identify and monitor compliance obligations for the Group-wide GRC system
• Assist with Privacy Impact Assessments, Third Party Risk Assessments, Marketing Materials, and PDSs
• Assist in the development and preparation of incident, breaches and regulatory changes reporting to the Executive, the Board, and Risk, Audit & Compliance Committee
• Provide compliance subject expert to the business on a broad range of financial services areas, including superannuation, AFSL obligations, design and distribution obligations, AML, consumer protection, anti-bribery and corruption, and other conduct-related areas.

Background requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in regulatory or compliance roles within financial services (specifically within superannuation or funds management including licensing, administration, financial products and investments).
    • Knowledge and experience of the legal and regulatory requirements relevant to a superannuation trustee e.g., SIS Act & Regulations, Corporations Act & Regulations, Prudential Standards, the Privacy Act and the AML/CTF Act.
  • Seeking a passionate, personable Compliance SME on an upward career trajectory. Experience working in a fast-moving, ambiguous, ever-changing environment.
