Our client is a global leader in business process outsourcing (BPO) and Corporate services.

They are a trusted outsourcing partner to the world's leading brands. This is an exciting opportunity to pioneer their Australian start up based out of Melbourne.

You will be well supported by the Global Arm which has an envious reputation for world leading technology and processes.

They are a highly regarded supplier to Top Tier global companies in Banking. Finance, Telco, Health and Education 

As the Head of Operations, you will play a crucial role in shaping operational strategy, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiency. 

You will drive process excellence and business growth through process automation. This is a client facing role and an internal advocate of customer and your team’s efficiency as well as their engagement. 

A responsible, energetic and innovative leader with a strategic mindset and a drive for optimizing processes plus a passion for excellence for our client’s customers and our people.

  • Operations and Performance management
  • Migrations / Setup or start-up projects
  • Planning & Budgeting revenues and controls
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Stakeholder Management 
  • Process and people related change management
  • Growing existing engagements

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head of Operations or a similar leadership role.
  • Experience in one or more of the specialised verticals of Telecommunications, Banking & Finance, Health insurance plus working with or for a BPO 
  • Familiarity with all business functions, including HR, finance, supply chain, and IT.
  • Experience in implementing IT systems.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and reporting.
  • Strong numerical and financial planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational abilities.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling P & L Management, Service Delivery, Client Relationship and Internal Stakeholder Management
  • Heading the onshore delivery of company services within Australia
  • Implement programs to ensure attainment of business plan for growth and profit.
  • Provide directions and structure for operating units
  • Implement improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to direct reports and other employees
  • Responsible for managing multiple accounts with a strength of 500+ employees
  • Looking after end to end management of program covering multiple work streams with a total span
  • Facilitating process re-engineering and improvements to enhance customer engagement
  • Generating new prospects for the organization to showcase capabilities
  • Ensuring attrition control & job enrichment at process levels

Experience & Qualifications

  • Graduate / Post Graduate / Masters in Operations or relevant tertiary qualification 
  • 10+ years' experience in various industries including Banking & Finance, Healthcare, Telecommunications or other relevant industries
  • Have experience of managing business’ of at least 500+ FTEs.
