Senior Asset Growth & Investment Analyst

Join Aurizon’s Asset Management & Strategy team as a Senior Asset Growth and Investment Analyst. This crucial role involves providing comprehensive and meaningful information, analysis, and reporting to help the enterprise achieve its strategic, financial, operational, and commercial objectives.

We are also considering more junior candidates eager to grow their careers within an ASX-listed company as an Asset Growth and Investment Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and challenge a range of relevant data and information, providing insightful trends to drive commercial, financial, and operational outcomes.
  • Coordinate the development of relevant reports, plans, and forecasts as required.
  • Develop, manage, update, and maintain models, processes, frameworks, or tools for comprehensive analysis and monitoring.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations to leverage financial, commercial, or operational improvements and outcomes.
  • Assist with the development of contracts, business cases, reports, and presentations for stakeholders, managers, and customers.
  • Drive projects, activities, and initiatives by providing expert advice to support enterprise planning and decision-making.
  • Provide support through training and development activities to increase capability across teams.
  • Work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, teams, and business areas.

About You:

  • High level of analytical, conceptual, interpretation, and problem-solving skills that deliver commercial value.
  • Proficiency in compiling meaningful reports and presentations suitable for various audiences.
  • Strong negotiation, consultation, and relationship management skills, with a track record of influencing key stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify, summarize, and present complex issues to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organization skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to work within and promote collaboration within a team and cross-functionally.
