Assets and Infrastructure are looking for a Senior Asset Officer to join their team. Under the Metro South Health (MSH) Infrastructure and Assets Directorate, Engineering Delivery forms a key component of Asset Management, working closely with Maintenance Services, Infrastructure Planning and Capital Delivery. The Engineering team work to ensure all existing and new buildings, systems, assets and equipment conform to general Engineering and health facility requirements, meet Australian Standards and comply with relevant legislative and regulatory compliance requirements.We are the major public healthcare provider for Brisbane's south side, Logan, Redlands and the Scenic Rim. better together .Join us at Metro South Health and be part of a world-class, dynamic and growing health service that embraces technology, excellence in health care, teaching, research and empowering our people to be the best in serving our community.About the RoleTo provide oversight and service direction in the management of asset condition assessment activities and programs within Metro South Health's (MSH) Asset Management department and provide a service that ensures MSH complies with relevant Acts, Regulations, By-laws, Australian Standards and Queensland Health asset management policies.Work proactively with senior responsible officers, to establish and maintain asset management governance processes. This includes but not limited to:Manage the asset criticality assessment to determine suitability of current controls and treatmentsManage condition assessment process and identify areas for enhanced controls or renewalManage asset risks with a view to reducing the current risks by implementing additional treatmentsManage asset optimisation with a view to improving asset utilisation and performance including lifecycle analysis, productivity analysis and scenario modelling and impactManage asset performance utilising computerised asset management systems to provide maintenance modelling, risk assessments, performance modelling and productivity analysis and ensure compliance with the performance-based requirements of the Building Code of Australia, Workplace Health and Safety Act and other relevant AustralianFind out about the role in more detail and how to apply in the attached Role Description.Our values of
