ICT Asset and Configuration Officer . You will play a pivotal role in managing our IT assets and overseeing configuration management processes.Your mission: ensuring all IT assets are accounted for, maintained, and configured to minimise risk and maximise service availability. Dive into IT Asset Inventory Management and contribute to the development of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB).Be part of our dynamic teamYour Impact:Lifecycle ManagementOversee IT asset lifecycle, ensuring accurate inventory and complianceManage CMDB for IT service configurations and asset recordsStandards & ControlsEstablish standards and controls over IT assetsDocument and approve configuration changes to maintain integrityCollaboration & Process ImprovementCollaborate across teams for accurate asset informationContribute to process improvement and automationRisk Identification & MitigationIdentify and assess risks associated with IT assetsImplement controls to prevent unauthorised changes and disruptionsEnsure IT asset management practices are integrated for user benefitReporting & ComplianceProvide regular reports on IT asset status and configuration changesEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policiesWhat Goodstart can offer you:Flexible work arrangements (as agreed with line manager)Not-For-Profit Salary Packaging benefits which reduce your taxable income to increase take home pay.Access to discounted childcare (up to 15%)Discounted health care and access to employee wellbeing program with BUPAExclusive discounts on travel, gym memberships, Apple and Dell products, and more.Work for a company that has an aspiration to be globally recognised for early years practice and learning outcomes.Be a part of a team and work environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging, inclusion and purpose.Regular social events at our head office locationSecurity and stability - as Australia’s largest provider of early learning and care and a not-for-profit social enterprise, we exist purely to improve the lives of Australia’s children and their families.You’ll bring to the table:Degree qualification in either Information Technology or similar technical capacity, or equivalent work experienceStrong experience in IT Asset management and asset life-cycle managementExperience in maintaining CMDB (Configuration Management Database) or designated (software based) IT Asset InventoryExperience in monitoring and managing lifecycle of all IT devices and assetsExperience with Software Asset Management tools, such as: Service Now, Microsoft SCCM and LanSweeperStrong data analysis and manipulation skillsStrong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networkingStrong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, coupled with effective communication and interpersonal abilitiesGood understanding of Cloud Services and Cloud based IT Assets (specifically Azure Cloud Platforms)Experience across; ITIL Service Lifecycle, Stakeholder Management, Strategy, Planning, Road Maps, Leadership and Mentoring, Vendor ManagementExperience with Active Directory/Azure AD: Manage devices identity, users, & groupsExperience ensuring device compliance with latest Windows security updatesA qualification in ITIL and/or previous experience using ITIL at a practical levelStrong breadth of experience in a technology services group within a large complex organisation and multi-sourced services environmentHow to applyClick ‘Apply Now’ and submit your application.
