The Program
Commencing January 2025, Powerlink’s Development Engineering Officer program will offer you the opportunity to work under the supervision of highly skilled and supportive leaders to develop your skills and knowledge for the best possible grounding for your career in energy,.
The Development Engineering Officer Program gives participants a broad foundation of Engineering experience in a variety of teams and divisions across Powerlink. This includes rotations across design, delivery, systems and field based teams.
Our graduate engineering officer program is open to those who are completing their final year of study - or who have recently completed qualifications - offered at the level of engineering technologist under the Sydney Accord, in:
- Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Electrical orElectrical & Electronic or Telecommunications
- Bachelor of Engineering Science in Electrical orElectrical & Electronic
- Bachelor of Science (Electrical Engineering)
We also invite individuals to apply who are completing their final year of study - or who have recently completed qualifications - offered at the level of engineering associate under the Dublin Accord, in:
- Associate Degree of Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronics)
- Associate Degree (Electrical and Electronic Engineering)
- Associate Degree in Engineering Technology (Electrical and Electronics)
- Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering
OR
- Advanced Diploma of Applied Electrical Engineering
- Advanced Diploma of Applied Electrical Engineering (Power Industry)
- Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology (Electrical)
