The Opportunity

The Newstead Residences is a luxury retirement living community, set across 19-storeys of modern independent living apartments. Located in the heart of Newstead, we are looking to launch a team of Domestic Cleaners commencing from late July/early August 2024. Our Cleaners will be responsible for the daily cleaning & upkeep of all areas of our building including reception & concierge areas, hallways, bathrooms and all common spaces. If you have experience in previous cleaning roles, we welcome your Expressions of Interest today.

Commencing late July/early August, we will be recruiting for several permanent part-time positions working 4pm-midnight, across all seven days of the week. Please express your interest when applying what days you are available to work

You will

  • Deliver high-quality cleaning services within common areas including floors, bathrooms, kitchens, elevators, hallways, office spaces and outdoor areas
  • Deliver thorough service to residents and fellow staff members by attending to resident requests and community emergencies
  • Enjoy building relationships and being a friendly face to residents
  • Provide assistance to the residents and community with general ad-hoc tasks
  • Follow all OH&S standards and report any safety & security incidents

What you will bring

  • Permanent right to work in Australia (required)
  • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles (highly desired)
  • Current Police Check clearance (required, but we can complete for you)
  • Two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
