The Role
As the Project Manager you will work within the Parks and Corporate Technology team, you will be visible across the business and critical to the success of the future project roadmap. You will be a highly effective communicator, confident working with all levels of the organisation, including our executive team.
You will take a leadership role in the build out of our next generation platform utilising “best-in-class” applications, infrastructure and processes. In addition to leading business critical projects, you will be instrumental in shaping best practice Project Management at G’day. As such, an understanding of Waterfall and Agile Project Management is required along with a practical mindset that can see outcomes achieved with the minimum of bureaucracy.
This multi-faceted role would suit someone with a successful track record of project delivery that is also looking to take on some strategic responsibilities at a very exciting business with a mandate to deliver projects at the cutting edge of the industry.
Your role responsibilities will include;
·Lead, manage and co-ordinate cross-functional project teams to deliver outstanding business outcomes
·Deliver project scope on time, on budget and to a high level of quality
·Produce and manage project schedules and/or backlogs
·Manage project budgets, benefits and forecasts
·Manage vendor deliverables, and hold the team to account
·Assist in the preparation of business cases
·Support the design, development and delivery of the change management plan
·Stakeholder management
·Support and engage senior leaders
·Track and report risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and decisions
·Define, measure and monitor metrics for project success
·Assist in the development of a best practice Project Management capability at G'day
Your Experience
Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology, combined with Project Management Professional (PRINCE2, PMI-ACP) or relevant project management certifications. You will have proven experience as a Project Manager in a fast-paced and commercial environment. You will have proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor and guide teams to achieve project goals.
By bringing a high level of energy, self-motivation, decisiveness, initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail to G'day Group together with your naturally upbeat and open communication style will fit our cultural values. You will have a highly organised mindset, with the ability to assess the urgency of work allocated to you by various stakeholders whilst working closely with our established IT Team.
