About Us:
Corvex are an Australian owned and operated company that are expert leaders in the Asbestos and Hazmat remediation industry.
As our Sydney branch continues to expand, we currently have the following job openings available.
The Role:
Our Commercial Manager will hold an integral role amongst the communication, coordination and completion of projects. We are seeking professionals who can oversee all aspects of our project team, including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring project progression.
The successful candidates will work directly with our clients and stakeholders to ensure deliverables fall within budget and scope. You will be confident and suitably experienced to take responsibility for the successful execution of projects ensuring excellent customer service and competent delivery of all milestones in terms of safety, quality, time and budget.
You will have experience in all facets of contractor administration, programming, daily operations coordination, Quality Assurance documentation requirements and understand the importance of proactive client communication and management. Tendering and estimating experience would be highly regarded, as would an understanding of the Asbestos Industry, Demolition and Hazmat remediation industry.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Tendering and subcontract reviews
•Oversight of project delivery team
• Planning and defining scopes
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of jobs
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Perform risk management to minimise risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Time and cost estimating
• Monitoring and reporting job progress
• Team leadership
• Stakeholder management
• Strategic influencing
• Quality control
• Ensure high levels of health, safety and environmental standards
service authorities and other stakeholders to ensure the safe and successful execution of all jobs
Requirements:
• Proven working experience in project management in a similar role
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of organisation skills including attention to detail and multitasking
• Understanding of Quality and Safety policies
• Managed and delivered projects independently or with minimal help
• An understanding of the Asbestos industry is desirable
• Experience of Mould and other Hazardous material remediation is required
