  • Location - Sydney, NSW
  • Hybrid flexible - in office and at home, work pattern is available once your training and 3-month probation period has been completed and you are meeting performance expectations
  • Full-time, permanent position

This role works in partnership with the Project Manager or Program Director to manage the scope of design by providing clear instructions to the design team and relevant stakeholders. Design Director will retain accountability for the design outcome through delivery by monitoring construction compliance with the design intent

Success Factors – What we are looking for in a person

  • Developed skills in all facets of engineering concept and detailed design.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills in resolving technical conflicts to progress designs for timely delivery
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated skills in the facilitation of meetings and workshops to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Demonstrated skills in the management and understanding of contractual, legal, commercial and legislative requirements.
