In support of this growth, Ventia are inviting expression of interest for a variety of key roles, which will be instrumental in growing our capacity within the Power & Energy industry.
About the Role
In anticipation for this growth Ventia are seeking expressions of interest from Technical Scoping Specialists. This role will see you providing timely scoping & validation information prior to our construction crews carrying out works on overhead electrical lines in the Power & Energy sector. This role is part of our "Work winning and work planning" team and career progression opportunities.
Your other main responsibilities include:
- Working safely, undertake field scoping in accordance with required IT equipment, systems & processes.
- Work closely with key stakeholders including, Planners, Project Supervisors to ensure best delivery outcomes.
- Undertake work packaging in accordance with technical, quality and safety requirements.

About you
To be successful in this role of a Technical Scoping Specialist, you should hold the following skills & experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role as a Scoper within the Power & Energy sectors.
- Sound knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to plan and resource accordingly.
- Knowledge of basic systems including Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel etc.
- Current Drives Licence – Heavy Rigid (HR) Desirable
- Ability to safely work autonomously in urban & rural areas.
- Ability to work away from home as required.
