About the roleWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Operations & Service Chapter Lead – Print and Create. In this role, you will oversee various aspects of our Print and Create store and online operations, services, incidents, and releases. Your primary responsibilities will include providing leadership to a support team, driving operational excellence through process improvements and automation strategies, and coordinating issue resolution across IT teams. If you have a strong background in IT operations and service management, along with exceptional leadership and communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a support team to provide day-to-day people management and practice leadership.
- Provide thought leadership for long-term plans focused on operational excellence, process improvements, risk mitigation, and automation strategies.
- Prioritize work to maintain and improve operational systems, processes, and communication with broader IT teams.
- Act as the central conduit for significant incidents, coordinating issue resolution and communication across IT teams.
- Identify tooling requirements for faster mitigation strategies and work with vendor teams to adopt universal solutions.
- Grow the operations team as needed, including coaching and mentoring to meet career aspirations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in a Business and/or IT and/or project and/or software engineering-related discipline.
- At least 5 years of operations and service management experience, with a focus on leading teams and project delivery.
- At least 10 years of IT experience, ideally in the retail industry.
- Experience in driving operational efficiencies through automation strategies and third-party solutions adoption.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL and implementation in projects.
