YOUR ROLE
As a Lawyer, you’ll join IAG’s high performing legal team (awarded the 2022 Large Legal Team of the Year at the ACC Corporate Lawyer awards).
In this role, you will work within the Insurance Projects, Reinsurance, and Distribution team, partnering closely with the business to provide high quality advice and input to support the organisation’s legal response to regulatory change projects.
This role will support projects that impact the insurance business, champion ethical conduct and practices, build partnerships and work collaboratively in a high performing, customer-focussed team.
You will be passionate about establishing deep and effective relationships with business partners and peers to understand their business drivers and strategic priorities.
This is a 12-month contract role based in Sydney or Melbourne.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven legal practice experience in financial services and front-end insurance issues at top tier private practice or ASX Top 50 financial services companies.
- Excellent written communication, advisory, negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to proactively provide customer centric solutions.
- Ability to triage multiple priorities and work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
