With a proven track record of over 1000 clients across the globe,this organisation is expanding aggressively.
This pivotal role entails technical leadership across our top-tier sports clientele, spanning global leagues, football clubs, franchises, and national governing bodies. You'll have the opportunity for international travel and collaboration with our global project teams. Our projects encompass performance, participation, and customer data platforms, data integrations, insights, and app development for sports and major events.
Based in the Melbourne CBD, this company offers a vibrant and inclusive working environment with the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most impressive sporting minds from around the world.
Duties for this role will include but won't be limited to:
- Engage stakeholders to understand problem scopes and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with various teams to translate business objectives into cloud strategies.
- Design solutions aligned with business priorities, ensuring feasibility.
- Share expertise and contribute to best practices and standards.
- Evaluate new cloud technologies for adoption recommendations.
- Undertake additional duties as needed.
- 3+ years' experience as a Solutions or Cloud Architect.
- Proficiency in Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS.
- Clear communication of complex technical topics.
- Deep knowledge of cloud services, architectures, and best practices.
- Familiarity with containers, microservices, and modern application development.
- Proficiency in database tools such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL.
- Ability to take responsibility and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant cloud certifications.
- Proficiency in scripting and languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc.
- Experience with Data Lake, Data Warehouse, or Data Lakehouse design.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices.
- Exposure to big data technologies and data modeling tools.
- Project Management and Team Leadership skills.
