Health & Injury Management Solutions Pty Ltd is a boutique claims management company operating in four states and growing rapidly.

We provide specialist services to our self-insured clients delivering claims, injury management, rehabilitation, data analytics, health and wellbeing services supported by a team of specialist medical and allied health partners.

Our operating model and culture is unique, and we offer the opportunity to expand your responsibilities and work on special projects across OHSEMS, Data Analysis, Program Governance, Training and Technological Innovation.

Both full-time and permanent part-time positions are available, working Monday to Friday with offsite options after completing a probationary period.

We are looking for resourceful, passionate people who would like to work with a highly experienced team and learn our unique delivery model, diverse client programs and assist with our strategic development.

The positions are based at offices in Bella Vista, NSW and in Melbourne Victoria.

Job tasks and responsibilities

In this position you will be working with a range of specialists and our clients in an integrated governance model.

Claims Management is our core business and applicants must have workers compensation claims experience to work effectively with office administration, injury management, allied health, legal providers, our senior executives and clients using imaging, data entry and related processes supported by our claims management system providers. 

The position requires coordinating claims management tasks and requests from injured workers and related stakeholder to our claims team including:

  • Liaison with self-insurers clients and suppliers to approve treatments
  • Updating of all claims activities on or claims systems
  • Preparing standard letters, estimates and contact notes,
  • Assisting the team with injured worker liaison and general duties
  • Data entry of decisions, invoices and correspondence
  • Support the team with new client transition projects.
  • Attending team weekly meetings and L&D sessions.
  • Attending legal proceedings 
  • Working with our account directors with specialised programs

Skills and experience

We require the successful applicant to have
  • At least 3 years' experience managing workers' compensation claims 
  • Competent typing skills with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, work to deadlines, with good time management skills
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office 365 and XL.
  • Ability to work together with a team spread across Australia.

Experience understanding medical treatments and injury management is very important to achieve recovery at work outcomes.
