About the opportunity

Reporting to the Ingredients Customer Value Chain Manager, you will provide specialist knowledge of nominated markets and be the conduit between the Fonterra regional office and Fonterra Australia in all matters relating to export. You will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are delivered within agreed KPIs, and in compliance with Export and Importing country regulations.

Based at our Richmond head office with WFH flexibility, this role will see you build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across the business to ensure export orders meet supply chain delivery expectations.

You will also:

  • Efficiently manage order fulfilment activity and customer inquiries in line with sales strategies
  • Be the dedicated go to person for all order fulfilment activities for designated customers/markets and be ultimately responsible for completing each sales order and delivery up to documentation.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and complies with government regulations.
  • Problem solve and resolve issues impacting on delivery such as Master data, IT, shipping or documentation.
  • Accurately execute customs export permits and health certificates for necessary international orders, in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of assigned markets, customers and food industry protocols

About you

Critical to your success in this position, will be your highly honed communication skills and attention to detail, teamed with your ability to be a collaborative team player. You will be a keen learner, process driven and easily adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Ideally, you will have strong Excel skills and experience within the FMCG sector. Dairy industry knowledge/ experience will also be advantageous as will experience in an Export/Logistics or Supply Chain environment.

Playing a key role in driving processes, you will add value to current processes by identifying areas of improvement.

You will also have:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • 2-3 years’ minimum experience in customer service / administration
  • Intermediate – advanced skills in Excel will be highly regarded
  • Experience with SAP systems will be highly advantageous
