Senior Client Director

The purpose of this role is to provide strategic recommendations and manage all resources to ensure the Client’s marketing needs are met. They are viewed as a trusted advisor to client, understands and articulates client business insights and leverages to contribute ways to move business forward, lead and monitor the day-to-day activities; proactively identify new business building insights and opportunities, manage, motivate and develop their team; work with other departments to develop and execute strategies that will build the Client’s business.

We are now excited to invite applications for the role of Senior Client Director for a 13-month Contract opportunity with our awesome team in Sydney This is an opportunity to work with our largest national client with a talented and well-resourced team.
The role:
As the Senior Client Director you will be managing theday-to-daysenior client relationship and the overall team performance. It is a role that requires an expert level of understanding ofthe media industry and a comprehensive understanding of our client’s industry and business.
Core responsibilities:
- Effectively manage direct reports to ensure progression through the agency; including recruitment, performance reviews, development plans, feedback and training
- Leading external agencies (digital and creative) in delivering integrated projects
- Responsible for the connectivity,consistency and timely delivery ofthe components of the response tobrief including; strategy, commsplanning and investment andoptimization
- Manage the Business – deliver the service proposition to clients and full end to end management of the business on individual clients
- Relationship Management – owns the client relationships as per the defined relationship strategy for the client
- Proactively Identifies Client Development Opportunities – flags specific client cross sell and upsell opportunities
- Commercial and service ownership of client relationship – drives seamless delivery and profitability of account

- Previous primary focus on channelplanning including the production ofthe supporting documentation thatdetails; the OEB ecosystem, channelselection, role of channel, top linephasing, block plan andhigh levelbudget bearings
- Confidence and competence delivering on large fast moving, high volume accounts
