Infrastructure Project Manager

Join a trailblazing team in the automotive industry as an Infrastructure Project Manager. This pivotal role involves steering the planning, design, and implementation of vital IT infrastructure projects. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to split your time between our Port Melbourne office and working remotely.

Role: Project Manager (Infrastructure)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure projects in alignment with strategic business goals.
- Proactively manage project lifecycles to deliver on time, within budget, and in accordance with our internal methodologies.
- Serve as a primary liaison among various departments, ensuring clear communication and effective issue resolution.
- Monitor technology performance, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements.
- Maintain and update reporting systems to support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that infrastructure solutions meet business needs and compliance standards.
Functional Accountabilities:
- Cloud Platforms: Manage Azure, AWS, and Private Cloud platform migrations.
- Database/Middleware/Network: Support and remediate performance incidents and configuration issues.
- Backup, DR, Recovery: Design and implement robust data protection strategies.
- Server Hardware/OS/Management: Oversee the lifecycle and management of the server environment.
- Vendor and Commercial Management: Manage relationships with service vendors to ensure specifications and cost efficiencies.
- Security Compliance: Uphold security policies and standards, identifying and resolving potential security issues.
- ITIL Process Adherence: Manage incidents, problems, and changes within the IT infrastructure.
- Project Ownership & Solution Review/Design: Lead key projects and design solutions to meet complex business and IT challenges.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on infrastructure management.
- Demonstrated ability in cloud solutions and project management.
- Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical teams and business stakeholders
