The Senior Manager ESG Reporting will be a newly established role in our Sustainability & Public Affairs department. The new incumbent will own the overall ESG reporting, including the Non-Financial Report for the Borealis Group and ESG/sustainability related KPIs.

**In this role, your tasks will include to...**:

- Deliver the non-financial report for the Borealis AG Annual Report by developing the concept, storyline and rough draft followed by leverage of internal stakeholders and experts to finalize a state-of-the-art Annual Report
- Provide process and content guidance to business units and functions to implement the required messaging and the to be reported ESG metrics
- Coordinate supporting processes, such as ESG risk & opportunity assessment, materiality assessment, stakeholder mapping, ESG benchmarking, and management of sustainability KPIs
- Coach the organization on non-financial reporting related continuous improvements, and drive related change initiatives building on an integrated and inclusive transformation approach to meet regulatory requirements of non-financial reporting regulations
- Oversee the market to stay up to date when it comes to trends, best practices, technology and tools (e.g., digitalization of reporting)
- Drive digitalization and automation of the non-financial reporting process

**About you**:
- 12+ years management experience in transformation & change management with solid ESG / business background
- University master’s degree or MBA, preferably in the area of ESG / sustainability
- Mastery of English at business level
- Expert knowledge of sustainability, transformation project management and in executing critical change initiatives
- Expertise in communication and sustainability reporting
- Strategic thinking and ability to articulate a clear vision and strategy for developing a complex end product such as a company reporting
- Strong leadership, motivation and coaching skills to lead a team of content owners, which might have different priorities or resource constraints
- Good communication, negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills
- Outstanding skills in gaining commitment, driving continuous improvement, steering and motivating professional teams (Experts & Senior Leaders), conceptual capabilities to translate strategies into convincing narratives
- Recognized as high performing leader of change
- Ability to quickly dive into detailed topics and derive key messages for external audiences
- High result orientation paired with the ability to understand complex data and to quicky detect inconsistencies

Following Austrian law regulations, we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement starting at EUR 119.120 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background.
