Group Accountant

**Responsibilities**
***:
- Maintain financial information for all overseas entities, including foreign currency transactions and intercompany reconciliations.
- Ensure correct monthly/quarterly review procedures and preparation of consolidated financial statements according to IFRS for year-end and half-year
- Support the implementation of automated systems and processes for greater efficiency
- Ensure high level of formalized documentation in many aspects of daily work, especially with a view to the newly implemented SOX-regulation
- Evaluation of business topics according to treatment under IFRS
- Participation in alignment with external auditors with regards IFRS and consolidation topics (segment reporting, allocation within segments)
- Provide financial analysis and cost projections for new business initiatives
- Support with group-wide projects (by way of example: capital-markets related projects)
- Support with maintaining of Group’s Accounting manual
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a publicly reporting multinational company
- Experience with consolidations and preparation of Group financial statements
- Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions and geography.

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 55.000;
- gross per year based on full-time employment. However our salaries are market oriented and in line with your qualifications and experience.
