Senior Investment Fund Accountant

This Leading Investment Manager is committed to building a high-performance focused culture, as well as actively developing and encouraging its team for longer-term individual career opportunities. Increased demand for quality investment accounting reporting from the investment team has driven the requirement for this newly created Senior Fund Accountant position.
As part of the investment accounting team, the Senior Investment Fund Accountant will be focused on a variety of challenging day-to-day investment accountant work to support the investment team, focusing across multiple sectors including Property, International Equities, and Alternative Investments. Your challenges will also be to show initiative and a proactive approach to seek improvements and work with senior stakeholders across this investment group.
To be successful, you will have some previous Investment Fund Accounting experience (5 years +) from either the investment management, superannuation, banking, wealth management, custody, or Big 4 with some hands-on technical knowledge across investment accounting and proactive communication skills allowing you to interact successfully at senior levels of the business. Experience across unit pricing and investment fund accounting is ideal with some exposure to investment trusts, with either CA/CPA qualifications being well regarded.
