**JOB SUMMARY**

The 'Technical Operations Specialist' will manage and maintain our core tools of our IT infrastructure device landscape, ensuring the smooth operation of our internal systems and providing technical support to our distributed team. This person is responsible for driving the adoption of essential security measures such as SSO and 2-factor authentication, as well as managing access controls and onboarding/off-boarding processes. The person manages our core IT system backups and supports technical implementations to ensure data integrity and availability.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
- Manage and maintain core tools of our IT infrastructure, including Mac OSX, Google Workspace, Slack, Hangout, Zoom, and Hofy for device distribution
- Provide technical assistance to team members, including password resets and screen sharing support
- Troubleshoot and resolve software or hardware issues, serving as our internal IT support
- Drive the adoption of SSO and 2-factor authentication across all tools used
- Manage and maintain our Mobile Device Management (MDM) and VPN systems, ensuring the security of our IT infrastructure
- Implement and manage 1Password for secure password management
- Manage the access review process, creating, modifying, or deleting user accounts as needed
- Support the onboarding and off-boarding process from an IT perspective, provisioning and de-provisioning access accordingly
- Assist with internal Information Security Projects & Audits on hardware and vendor landscape
- Implement technical solutions to enhance our information security setup
- Provide training to team members on technical topics as needed
- Manage core IT system backups to ensure data integrity and availability

**EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in IT operations or support, preferably in a remote work environment
- Strong proficiency with Mac OSX and familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, and other collaboration tools
- Experience with implementing and managing security measures such as SSO and 2-Factor Authentication
- Knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and VPN systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
