**About the role**:
In this responsible and interesting position you will be in charge of a team of 12 direct reports supervising the progress and working on analitical test methods.

**How you will contribute**:

- Disciplinary lead of the QC Analytical Lifecycle / Methods II team (12 direct reports)
- Ensure timely execution of method validation / verification / transfer and reagent qualification tasks
- Ensures timely problem solving activities analytical methods and represents Vienna QC in Rapid Response Teams or technical problem solving activities
- Responsible for initial establishment of outsourced raw material tests and issue resolution in case of iOOS results at external labs
- Ensures that expert statements and investigation actions are performed to support deviation investigations
- Initiate and drive continuous improvements or remediation for analytical Assays
- Support global harmonization and simplification activities
- Support creation and review of submission documents

**What you bring to Takeda**:

- Master / PhD in technical or natural sciences background (biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry or similar)
- Leadership skills, preferentially practical experience as team lead
- Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and guidelines
- Knowledge of analytical method validation, critical reagent qualification and equipment qualification processes
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements concerning analytical test methods (ICH/EP/USP)
- Preferentially hands on experience within an analytical laboratory
- Fluency in German and English
- Strong communication and team-player
- Open minded and continuous improvement driven
