**Your personal sphere of play**:
In the Department of Economic Sociology at the Faculty of Economics, Business and Statistics a position of a Research Associate (post doc) will be filled by October 1st, 2024. The position is limited to a four-year period. The position holder is expected to develop their own research program in economic sociology - an area in sociology which addresses economic phenomena in societal contexts - including the acquisition of external funds as well as contributing to ongoing projects in the department.

**Your future tasks**:
Your tasks will encompass research, teaching (according to the regulations of the collective agreement) and administration in the Department of Economic Sociology.

**This is part of your personality**:

- Outstanding dissertation
- We expect a firm understanding of the collection and analysis of survey data and usage of relevant statistical techniques which is proven by publications in established, peer-reviewed journals.
- Use of experimental methods, a pertinent teaching record and international experience are of advantage.
- The teaching will cover courses regularly offered by the Department.
- Didactic skills / experience in e-learning
- IT skills (MS Office, Stata or R and if possible oTree)
- Excellent knowledge of German and English (C1)
