**Our business**
**Your role**:
- Develop, maintain and implement highly profitable Business Case Economics within the defined capital and RD&D program and/or project scope and the entire duration
- Strive for an optimum in terms of profitability, compliance (strategy, standards and norms) and technical reliability in the field of power-to-liquids
- Lead and guide a multidisciplinary program and/or project team towards a highly profitable business case
- Strategic and conceptional screening of CO2 reduction technology landscape both of the asset operations and products
- Review existing Downstream innovation portfolio to evaluate current efforts, select most promising topics and discard remaining
- Identify potential partners and investment opportunities, lead technical due diligence of investment targets
- Guide and mentor colleagues to mature promising technologies in-house up to pilot phase
- Identify, develop and lead partnerships with numerous types of partners as required for the respective technology, e.g., universities, companies operating in the green feedstock value chain, technology developers, engineering houses, working groups or start ups
- Engage with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure end to end success of any new development by transparent communication within project and line organizations
- Steer the development and implementation of OMV's innovation process
**Your profile**:
- University degree Master/Diplom in Chemical engineering, environmental process technology and engineering, technical chemistry
- Minimum of 12 years experience in refinery, natural gas/hydrogen, or chemical industry or process engineering/scale-up
- Unique knowledge and detailed expert knowhow of power-to-liquid and related technologies as well as conventional refinery process technologies
- Comprehensive regulatory knowhow (esp. RED II) of advantage
- Profound knowhow of project management
- Comprehensive understanding of business case calculation and capability to identify and address critical assumptions
- Deep knowledge of downstream oil's business model, value chain, and market
- Deep experience of process steps for technological development from lab testing to maturation to industrial scale
