Product Manager Confectionery

**Your duties & responsibilities**:
The **Product Manager Confectionery** is responsible for defining the product strategy within the product group Confectionery Foil & Wrappers and for developing state-of-the-art, tailor-made solutions together with the sales team to meet the needs of our clients. This role reports directly into the Strategic Product Manager Confectionery Foil & Wrappers and is located at our plant Constantia Teich in Mühlhofen. Among the daily duties and tasks of the Product Manager Confectionery are:

- Technically supporting our global and local customers
- Technically supporting our Global Key Account Managers and Product Management group leaders
- Evaluating and developing new innovations together with other departments until they are ready for the market
- Developing new material specifications in close collaboration with R&D and Production
- Standardizing and optimizing material specifications
- Understanding customers’needs and presenting relevant material specifications
- Solving internal production problems together with the department managers
- Creating technical specifications for Quality Management and production
- Acquiring general knowledge and understanding of customers’ production workflows and processes
- Developing market knowledge together with the key account managers
- Planning and preparing customer visits together with the key account managers, this includes the creation of presentations
- Processing internal and external complaints together with Quality Management, production and R&D and the customers
- Establishing, expanding and strengthening cooperation with packaging machine manufacturers and their customers

**Requirements**:
**Technical Attributes**:

- Technical background with ~2 years of working experience in Product Management and/or Application Engineering
- Experience within the flexible packaging industry is preferable
- First practical experience in Project Management
- Fluent in English and German (oral and written)

- Passionate about packaging and sustainability

- Used to work in international teams
- Good communication and presentation skills, verbally and in written
- Analytical thinking

**Our offer**:

- We offer an exciting and challenging role within a high-performance team at a compensation package above market-average (based on previous experience). Due to the legal obligation, we have to state the minimum salary of the collective agreement for the processing metal industry at this point (EUR 3,000 gross)._
