- As a Regulatory Lead Eastern Europe you will work within our Taste & Wellbeing Regulatory Department leading a team unit operating in Eastern European markets (which span from Poland and Austria to Turkey, Russia and Central Asian countries). You will be responsible for leading and managing regulatory projects and customer information and providing internal and external customers with regulatory expertise and consultancy on Givaudan Taste & Wellbeing portfolio through strong customer focus, clear accountability, regulatory advice and advocacy to ensure product safety and compliance.

- Provide internal and external customers with consistent and compliant product safety and legislative expertise
- Monitor and Interpret flavouring and food regulatory and legislative developments, identify early issues that impact the business, and advise the business on eventual risks to ensure compliance and reduced liability
- Interact with commercial teams delivering legislation updates and regulatory consultancy for business projects, local launches and marketing promotions based on business processes and internal regulatory systems and procedures and industry and regulatory requirements in an expeditious timeframe
- Collaborate with Senior management within sub-region to ensure the right level of regulatory support to the business and customers
- Utilise functionalities of internal SAP-based regulatory systems and databases to support key compliance and safety initiatives
- Ensure integrity of regulatory database as well as protection of regional intellectual property
- Represent Givaudan at Trade Associations and with Authorities within sub-region providing the company position
- Develop and implement internal policies, processes and procedures and training for team members/new hires/partners
- Establish relationships with assigned customer contacts including participation/leading to customer visits/meetings
- Manage a team of regulatory experts

- Your professional profile includes:
- University Degree (minimum Master) in a scientific field such as Chemistry or Food, Biological or Physical sciences
- 7-10 years of relevant regulatory experience in Flavours or Food or related industry
- Knowledge of the food industry regulatory issues and trends, understanding of its customer regulatory requirements and market dynamics for food ingredients and flavourings
- Strong communication (both written and oral) and Networking skills
- Problem-solving and Decision quality skills
- Customer focus and Drive for results
- Proactive Mindset
- Project Management skills and priority setting
- Business Fluency in English & German is a must
