Hydrogen FCEVs (Fuel Cell Electrical Vehicle) is a major new source of growth.

Innovation-driven since its creation, Plastic Omnium is now paving the way for the zero-carbon vehicles and is confident that hydrogen will play a key role in the clean mobility of the future. Since 2015, the company has been investing in hydrogen technologies with the ambition of being a leading player across the whole hydrogen value chain.

In order to reach the objectives in a new but fast growing and technology evolving market, **Plastic Omnium has set up a dedicated Division “New Energies division”** focusing on **Hydrogen Storage, Fuel Cell Stack and Integrated Hydrogen Systems**

**MISSION**
- The New Energies Program Buyers is responsible for leading the sourcing activity (from RFQ till SOP + 6 months) for all the components related to his/her program considering the Quality, Cost, Timing constraints and in line with the Purchasing Group Policy

**PRIMARY RESPONSABILITIES**
- **Safety, Compliance & Reporting**
- Encourage safety activities within supply base including enforcement of PO 6 non-negotiables
- Build and share the reporting of his activities
- Lead regular reporting of Purchasing performance for the programs in his/her scope
- **Purchasing program management**
- Prepare the GRs and ensure deliverables are provided and uploaded on time
- Develop TCO approach for all components sourced for his/her programs
- Ensure the proper management of program timelines and achieve program targets
- Track any evolution of Valorized Bill of Material
- **Sourcings Management**
- Develop formal written program strategies and support tool development and deployment
- Run deep analysis of RFQs from approved suppliers to support production and pre-production requirements (components, materials, and component tooling)
- Ensure the sourcings committees are presented on-time and that Purchase orders are provided to suppliers in a timely manner
- Lead sourcing decisions; optimize price, delivery and payment terms in line with purchasing strategy
- **Contractual Management**
- Manage the contractual relationship, including but not limited to intellectual property, payments terms & conditions, warranty & liability, etcin the interest of PO NE
- Responsible to work with legal department to insure the legal soundness of the contractual relationships between PO NE and its supply base, within scope assigned
- **Performance**
- Liaise with counterparts in other functional areas such as Sales, Engineering, Quality and Industrial to ensure alignment of activities and objectives
- Lead cost improvement ideas generation to implementation by working directly with all internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost reductions
- Contribute to company competitiveness improvement
- Ensure PO NE will have access to products & services according to needs and at preferred conditions in terms of pricing and quality
- Implement and respect the objectives fixed by Purchasing Management
- Attend and/or lead workshops for Purchasing continuous improvement
- Participate to the budget construction for the year N+1

**PROFILE REQUIREMENTS**

**Personal Background**
- Master degree with Engineering background preferably or Purchasing education
- Management skills
- A minimum of 5 years experience in Purchasing area in a manufacturing industry environment (preferably in the automotive sector)
- Driving license mandatory

**Job Technical skills**
- Ability to analyze cost structures and drivers relating to supplier price submissions.
- Ability to successfully negotiate prices, timing, and terms in support of POAI objectives.
- Ability to create and manage processes and procedures within the department.
- Ability to track financial metrics and report accordingly.
- Ability to conceptualize and understand multiple production processes and related equipment requirements/specifications.
- Strong negotiator.
- Excellent understanding of automotive requirements (understanding of train industry requirements is a +)
- Fluency in foreign language(s) business level, English is a Must, German is a Plus
- Strong organizational skills and prioritize tasks to meet department objectives with timely manner
- Master pack office and SAP
- Have to understand the impact of his/her activities on the purchasing objectives (services & products) and understand the potential risks of a non compliance on the products designed and delivered by Plastic Omnium to its customer
