Internship & Thesis
Department Functional Software Development
BRP-Rotax gets the world's most exciting powersports vehicles moving. As part of BRP, with around 23,000 driven and resourceful employees worldwide, technological progress and sustainable mobility are our drive. And what does your heart beat for?
In our department Electric / Electronics (EE), especially in the group Functional Software Development, we are offering the following topics for an internship, optional for a thesis:
**DCT hydraulic valves part 1**: Physical modeling of the valves, i.e. relationship pulse width modulation (PWM) or current to pressure for the dynamic scenario: step response 0 bar
- Kisspoint
**DCT hydraulic valves part 2**: Time-optimized filling strategy without pressure overshoot
Calculate software components offline with measured input variables to reduce the number of measured variables on the one hand and to create the possibility for offline simulations on the other.
This would require a tool that automatically modifies a software compnent (SWC) so that the input variables can use measured variables and the output and intermediate variables are saved during a simulation.
Continuation of the air path modeling of an internal combustion engine. Suction and compressor engines are already modeled. The model still needs to be extended for turbo engines.
Your new adventure
Internship lasting several months to work on one of the above-mentioned topics
Programming and evaluation with MATLAB and modeling with Simulink
