Ribbon Biolabs GmbH, a multi-awarded young biotech company with a location in Vienna, Austria, is working on developing the next technological wave of error-proof DNA synthesis. With its approach, Ribbon Biolabs is developing a cost-efficient platform to produce long and complex DNA molecules, thereby enabling a new generation of biopharmaceutical processes and other synthetic biology products.
As a Program Manager, you will help operationalize key objectives for Ribbon Biolabs to ensure efficient execution and delivery. You will be integral in communications with executive leadership, providing visibility to program progress. Your contributions will help drive technical and commercial excellence and scale.
Tasks
- Strategize, implement and maintain program initiatives that align with organizational goals
- Guide cross-functional teams in program planning and execution while setting clear accountabilities, timelines and execution plans
- Transparently communicate with the Executive team on program success or delays
- Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
- Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
- Monitor budget and funding channels for maximum productivity
**Requirements**:
- At least a BS degree in biology, molecular biology, cellular biology, or equivalent scientific majors or business with 5 yrs experience in life science or biopharma. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 yrs experience in Program Management, certification in Six Sigma, PgMP. ACP or other required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in cross-functional teams including R&D, product and commercial environments
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and master highly technical concepts and articulate them well to others
- Highly collaborative with a proven ability to drive results
- Outstanding relationship-building, communication and interpersonal skills
- Results-orientated, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
- Up to 25% of travel, internationally, may be required
