Kapsch TrafficCom develops smart solutions to make mobility safer, more sustainable and efficient for everybody. We design, build and operate traffic management systems including connected vehicles technology and mobility demand management as well as tolling services for cities, roads, tunnels and bridges around the world. We develop data and video analytics platforms, building on state-of-the-art technologies including AI, machine learning, big data and cloud services to enable the digitalization of mobility.

For a strategic program we are looking for an experienced Program Manager overseeing the overall implementation of a multi-national software product delivery. You will provide strategic guidance to the project managers and the involved technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction as well as financial and time targets are met.

Your Responsibilities

Provide leadership to project managers, foster a positive team environment
Assures program implementation in time, budget and quality
Acts as main customer and supplier interface on program level and hosts program status meetings
Escalates to the senior management in case of major project deviations
Drives risk-, contract
- and change management
Leads contractual negotiations with the customer (delivery aspects, time & scope) as well as subcontractor negotiations
Arbitrate and resolve conflicts within the program when necessary

Your Profile

A minimum of 5, preferably 10+ years relevant experience as Senior Program
- or Project Portfolio Manager for large scale software projects in a public sector
Demonstrated program or project portfolio management skills (portfolio / program size 50MEUR+)
ITS industry background is an asset
Excellent communication and presentation skills
PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification
You have proven leadership experience in line and matrix organizations
You have a natural leadership style
You are a solution driven personality with can-do attitude & approach
Fluency in English and German for both verbal and written communication (level B2 is a minimum).
Knowledge of any other Central European language is considered an advantage
